Podium Advanced Technologies has designed, tested and implemented a custom battery pack for railway application which removes the need for overhead power lines, a key issue in architecturally sensitive areas where trams and light trains run.
The battery system conceived by Podium Advanced Technologies guarantees a minimum percentage of 70% state of health after more than 20.000 charging and recharging cycles. With reduced weight and volume, our solution represents a suitable solution for municipalities and public transport companies.
