Podium Advanced Technologies, has designed, tested and implemented a custom battery pack for railway application which removes the need for overhead power lines, a key issue in architecturally sensitive areas where trams and light trains run.

The battery system conceived by Podium guarantees a minimum percentage of 70% state of health after more than 20,000 charging and recharging cycles. With reduced weight and volume, it represents a suitable solution for municipalities and public transport companies.
