Podium Advanced Technologies appoints new technical director

Pont Saint Martin, 3 February 2020 – Podium Advanced Technologies is delighted to announce the appointment of Ugo Gillone as the company’s Technical Director with effect from 3rd February, 2020.

Ugo holds a MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, with almost thirty years of experience in several world class engineering services providers including such companies as Pininfarina, Italdesign Giugiaro, Tesco, where – among other things – he has been responsible for a number of full vehicle development projects for OEMs like Fiat, Bentley, Honda, BMW, Ferrari.

Along his career Ugo has held Senior Management positions with a broad range of responsibilities, having covered the role of Technical Director and served as the Head of Product Development, Cost Engineering and Project Management departments.

Ugo Gillone will have technical supervision and responsibility of all of Podium Advanced Technologies projects, as well as of the entire Technical Department team effective immediately, reporting directly to the General Manager.

Ugo’s contribution will be instrumental to support the evolution of Podium Advanced Technologies, in the current phase of intense growth and ever new challenges.
