Podium Advanced Technologies is among the Europe’s 1000 fastest growing companies for the seventh year in a row.

An incredible result for Podium Advanced Technologies, which for the seventh year in a row enters the prestigious ranking compiled by the Financial Times.

The Financial Times 1000 ranking compiled with German research company Statista, showcases those European companies that have grown fastest over the period 2019 to 2022.

Podium Advanced Technologies has been part of this ranking since 2017 and has reconfirmed its presence every year since then, thanks to continuous and solid growth. In the evaluated period, 2019 – 2022, Podium Advanced Technologies recorded an Absolute Growth Rate of 167.6% and a CAGR of about 40%. Moreover, the company, in this three-year period, doubled the number of employees.

Only three other companies have achieved the record of being on this prestigious list seven years in a row. Among them, Podium Advanced Technologies is the only Italian company and the only one operating in the automotive sector overall.

2022 was a year studded with great successes. The SCG 007, the car designed and developed by Podium Advanced Technologies, achieved a historic podium at the 24h du Mans and a pole position at Monza. These results enabled Glickenhaus Racing, the team run by Podium Advanced Technologies, to win the third place in the Hypercar FIA World Endurance Manufacturers Championship. Also, in 2022 Podium Advanced Technologies announced an important partnership with Ducati Motor Holding. Other two milestones of that year are the handover of the last Lancia Delta Futurista made for Automobili Amos and the development of a bespoke battery pack for Riva El – Iseo. Finally, 2022 was the start-up year for the R&D project called Tech-Bat, encompassing a total investment of more than EUR 23 million over a 3 year period.

“We ended the 2023 with great achievements such as excellent placings at 24h du Mans and the prestigious new challenge of having been appointed as the sole Battery System Supplier for the next GEN4 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. 2024 will be another turning point year, full of exciting new projects” CEO Francesco Monti remarked.
