The new Lancia Delta Safarista from Automobili Amos, developed by Podium Advanced Technologies, was unveiled.

After the success of the Futurista, here comes the off-road sister!

Presented at Girardo & CO atelier in Oxford (UK), Lancia Delta Safarista is a restomod based on a Lancia Delta Integrale 16 valves: same donor car as the Futurista but a completely different result.

The Safarista is, in fact, designed for off-road and track use only: here functionality and durability count more than aesthetics, and its structure allows driving performance of the highest level.

As for the Futurista, Podium Advanced Technologies has supported Automobili Amos in the design, development, and assembly of the first prototype, and the BorromeodeSilva studio has defined the unique style of the new Safarista. Podium Advanced Technologies will also be involved in the realization of a limited-edition series up to 10 cars in the coming months.

The restomod has a fully 400 hp upgraded engine, with new turbocharger, intercooler, cooling system and completely customized racing ECU. To allow the car to be at ease away from the tarmac, the chassis has been reinforced and enriched with a full roll cage. Suspensions and brakes are also specially designed for off-road use with adjustable Reiger suspensions, motorsport Brembo brakes and hydraulic handbrake.  The driveline has been completely redesigned as well, with a 5-speed sequential gearbox and new rear differential. Safarista has a completely revamped design to increase off-road usability and an interior full of motorsport components, such as the Sabelt 6 points harnesses, completely adjustable pedal box and the carbon bucket seats.
