Podium Advanced Technologies is distinctively positioned to offer a comprehensive set of services in automotive high-performance development, covering conventional, hybrid and full electric vehicles and powertrains, supported by a unique hands-on experience in all facets of international motorsports.

Podium is a leading player in the field of prototype applications, motorsports and small series automotive solutions, pioneering hybrid and electric powertrains and high performance battery systems fully integrated with vehicle constraints.

Established in 2011 by three young engineers trained in Italy’s motor city, Turin, the company obtained the quality management, the environmental management and the information security management system certifications (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 27001:2017, respectively).

With headquarters in Pont Saint Martin (Aoste), close to the main industrial districts and technology parks of North Western Italy and to the bordering French and Swiss regions, Podium has been nominated by the Financial Times among Europe’s 1000 fastest growing companies for three consecutive years (from 2018 to 2020).

Business lines

The company is currently structured around three business lines: Automotive Engineering, Battery Systems and Motorsport. Each business line operates along its own line of management, drawing upon a common pool of competences and resources within the technical department.

The Automotive Engineering team is capable of delivering vehicle engineering solutions for any given application and required performance, from systems design to full vehicle development and assembly, with the highest quality and efficiency. 

Our Battery Systems team has a proven track record in developing complete hybrid or full electric powertrain systems. We can design, build and test high voltage battery packs with best in class power to weight and energy to weight ratios. Podium Advanced Technologies’ proprietary Battery Management System (BMS) delivers the best performances and safety in any given battery application.

The Motorsport team has the proven ability to carry out the entire design, engineering, assembly, set-up and testing of a race car, from ground up. At the same time, they have gained the experience of putting together and running a winning racing team in prominent international series.
