24 Hours of Nürburgring: 12th position for the 004C despite an accident

Nürburgring, 29 May 2022 - The Glickenhaus 004C EVO 2022 finishes the race as the best non-SP9 car all along the race and as the first car not made by a German manufacturer. At the 50th ADAC TotalEnergies 24H Nürburgring, in a field of more than one hundred and thirty participants filled with some of the most prestigious car makes in the world, the Glickenhaus 004C EVO 2022 No. 706, designed, developed and built by Podium Advanced Technologies has finished 12th overall. Drivers Thomas Mutsch, Fernandez Laser Felipe, Franck Mailleux, Richard Westbrook have obtained a total time of 24:08:39.210, with 155 laps completed and a gap of only one from the winner. The Glickenhaus 004C EVO 2022 finishes the race as the best non-SP9 car all along the race and the first car not made by a German manufacturer. A brilliant result, considering that it has been affected by an accident during an overtaking that forced the car to pit for 15 minutes to repair the underbody. An exceptional teamwork that in this short space of time has been able to put the 004C back on the track, keeping alive the chance to compete at its best. Without this unfortunate event (more severe accidents happened to other teams, by the way) the 004C would have probably been among the top 10 cars, not far away from the best five. Podium Advanced Technologies, official supplier of racing services for Glickenhaus, has been able to set the right performance of the 004C during the race week and to manage the rapid changes of weather conditions. Fast and reliable, it is a matter of fact that the 004C EVO 2022 can now compete among the best GT3 cars in the world.
